Dial Range

Went for a 6 hour walk today in the Dial range. It's behind Penguin a little. You can in fact walk all the way to cradle from there. Takes around 6 days though. Anyway heres a few pics of a few things along the way.

A bee :)

An old mine shaft. Few of these around the dial. Looking for Tin in the old days they were. Alot of the track we were on was actually part of an old tramway. The work that must of gone into it building it by hand would have been tremendous

Some...Nay the biggest Manferns (Dicksonia antarctica) I have ever seen where along the path, there were heaps of them. They take centuries to grow this large.

All in all a good day!
